Description

A tree-top arrangement does not have to be a star or an angel. These white glitter sprays offer a softer alternative, with fine curling branches and little berries that spread into a light, wispy shape. Gather several above the top branches of a tree and they make a wintry finishing touch without forming a solid, heavy ornament.

There are twelve sprays in the set, each approximately 40cm long. The white glitter stands out particularly well against deep green needles, and it also works with silver, glass and pale blue decorations. The effect is airy and decorative, with plenty of space between the fine stems.

Shape a light crown of branches

Arrange the sprays in a loose fan, with the tallest tips near the centre and the side branches opening outwards. You do not need to use all twelve in one place. A few at the top and a few lower down can repeat the same texture through the tree, helping the topper feel part of the overall decoration.

The iron-wire construction allows careful bending, while paper tape covers the main stem and foam forms the berries. Support the stem as you adjust it, and move the fine branches gradually. The glitter coating can shed during unpacking and use. Lay out a sheet of paper before opening the pack, separate any intertwined tips gently and tidy away the loose particles before arranging the sprays. These are decorative stems, with no lights or electrical fittings included.

A dry indoor setting is the easiest way to enjoy their pale finish. After Christmas, place the sprays in a long, shallow box without compressing the curls.
