When it comes to quality, there are varying degrees among the different types of silk flowers you can buy. At the lower end of the market, the flowers are cheap and colourful but are botanically inaccurate and quite obviously fake, even from a distance.

High quality silk flowers are practically indistinguishable from the real thing except up very close. They can offer great value for money in contrast with buying fresh flower arrangements on a regular basis to brighten the home. The other benefit of buying a silk flower arrangement is that they require practically no maintenance - just a little cleaning now and then to keep them looking fresh and dust free.

Buying an arrangement means that a selection of flowers will have been chosen for you - however there's nothing to stop you mixing them with other arrangements for variety!
