Hugsvik solar outdoor Christmas trees with snowflake lights (pair, 110cm)

Description

A pair of glowing Christmas trees can make the walk to the front door feel rather special. These Hugsvik trees use multicoloured snowflake lights among green artificial branches, with bright star-shaped toppers completing the festive outline. They are designed for the garden, so you can create a display away from the nearest plug socket.

The pack contains two trees and 100 snowflake lights across the set. Each tree has its own solar panel, allowing you to position the pair where they look best while giving each panel a useful place to collect daylight. Ground stakes are included for installation.

Solar power opens up more places to decorate

The independent panels are particularly useful when the two trees sit on opposite sides of a path or entrance. One side may receive better daylight at a different time, so adjust each panel to suit its position. Keep the panel surfaces clear of leaves and other decorations.

Solar lighting depends on the daylight available, especially during short winter days. Choose an open spot for the panels and follow the initial charging instructions. Check that the power switch is on before testing the automatic lighting: one customer initially thought the trees were not working until they found and activated that switch.

Colourful snowflakes after dusk

The light sensor brings the trees on as daylight fades. There is a choice of lighting effects, including a steady display and changing patterns, so you can decide how lively you want the garden to look. The snowflake shapes give the lights a decorative presence even at close range.

Customers have praised the brightness, straightforward assembly and the festive result on decks and beside entrances. One owner placed the trees in empty barrel planters and added separate illuminated ornaments around the bases. The gallery shows how that kind of arrangement can look; the barrels and extra decorations are not part of this set.

Allow for the stake when judging the size

The overall height is approximately 110cm, or about 3ft 7in, measured from the ground stake to the top of the tree. Some of that length goes into the ground, so the visible display will be lower once installed. Each tree is roughly 43cm across, making the pair useful as accents along a path rather than large standalone garden trees.

The outdoor design has an IP65 rating. Set the stakes firmly in suitable ground, leave the walking route clear and position the solar panels where they can receive daylight. After the festive season, wipe the panels, allow the trees to dry and pack the branches gently. Their separate power supplies make it easy to rearrange the display in a different part of the garden next Christmas.
