Description

Sometimes a Christmas tree needs more greenery rather than more ornaments. These Norfolk pine picks add soft, branching foliage with a relaxed outline, making them useful for filling sparse areas or giving an existing garland a fuller look. Their plain green finish also provides a calm background for colourful baubles, flowers and ribbon.

The pack contains 24 individual branches, each approximately 35cm long. About 9cm of the stem is available for inserting into a suitable base, leaving the leafy section to form the visible display. They are loose decorative branches, not a potted plant, so any container shown is there to illustrate an arrangement.

Fill the spaces that need it

Look at your tree before adding extra ornaments and identify where the foliage feels thin. Slide a pick into one of those areas, following the angle of the neighbouring branches. A small adjustment to the tips can help the new greenery blend in, instead of looking like a separate bunch pushed into the tree.

One customer specifically used these stems to fill missing spaces in an artificial Norfolk pine tree and was pleased with the result. The soft texture is also a recurring positive point in the feedback. The material is still artificial, of course; another buyer found the appearance convincing while recognising the plastic when touching it.

A flexible base for your own decorations

The foliage is made from polyethylene and plastic, with wire to help position the stems. You can use the branches in a wreath, combine them into a short swag or arrange them around other artificial flowers. The individual pieces give you control over the density, which is helpful when a ready-made garland would be too bulky.

For a table display, lay a few branches around a stable lantern or other decorative centrepiece, keeping them clear of heat. For a vase, use enough stems to support a loose, rounded shape and vary their angles. Berries, cones, ribbon and containers are separate, so the same greenery can suit a different colour scheme each year.

Greenery without the daily upkeep

These picks have no snowy coating or glitter to scatter through the display. They need no water, and there are no lights or batteries to manage. A dry indoor arrangement is straightforward to care for: remove dust gently and keep the stems away from direct heat sources.

When you take the decorations down, straighten only the sections that need it rather than forcing every branch flat. Store the stems loosely so the fine foliage is not compressed under heavier items. With 24 pieces to work with, you can refresh a tree, wreath or small arrangement while keeping the overall look soft and green.
