Description

A matching pair of evergreens gives a front door a wonderfully welcoming frame. These Karyllyd cedar trees bring that balanced look without needing two living plants to grow at the same rate. Each tree stands approximately 120cm high, with a tapered outline and green foliage that can stay in place beyond the Christmas season.

The set includes two potted trees and 40 berry sprigs for you to arrange. Add the berries for a festive flourish, then take the seasonal decorations away when you want a simpler entrance. The trees are unlit, leaving you free to choose whether you want a daytime greenery display or a glow after dark.

Make the berries part of your own design

You do not have to spread every sprig evenly from top to bottom. Try small groups of berries at different heights, or concentrate a little more colour near the front where it can be seen from the path. Using the same approach on both trees creates a pair that feels coordinated without looking rigidly identical.

Red berries work naturally with a green wreath, a tartan ribbon or a plain festive bow. The supplied sprigs make this a pleasant decorating job to do together, and you can keep the result quite understated if the rest of your entrance already has plenty of detail.

Greenery designed for the front door

The artificial foliage uses polyethylene and plastic with internal wires that allow the branches to be adjusted. Separate the tips after unpacking, gently widening the lower layers and keeping the top more tapered. The UV-resistant construction is intended for indoor and outdoor use.

Customers with the 120cm pair have praised the lifelike appearance and the effect outside their front doors. One owner especially liked the trees after fluffing out the branches, while another used them in outdoor urns. The black pots are included; any larger wooden boxes, urns or decorative outer containers shown in customer displays are separate.

Enjoy them through the seasons

For Christmas, a small set of outdoor-suitable fairy lights can add another layer of interest, but lights are not supplied. Keep battery boxes or power connections positioned according to their own instructions, and arrange the cable so it does not interrupt the doorway.

Set both trees on stable, level ground and secure their pots for the conditions where they will stand. A larger outer planter can help the pair sit comfortably alongside a substantial entrance, provided it is suitably stable and allows water to drain. The foliage needs no watering or pruning; occasional wiping with a damp cloth keeps it looking fresh. When the berries come off, the plain evergreen shape still provides a neat welcome.
