Putting together a coordinated Christmas display is easier when the flowers and foliage already work together. This white glitter set combines poinsettias, berry stems and leaf sprays, giving you three different shapes in one colour. It is a useful little collection for brightening a plain green tree or refreshing a wreath that needs a few more details.

The sixteen decorative pieces comprise eight poinsettia flowers, four berry stems and four leaf sprays. Eight clips are included for the flowers. The poinsettias come in two styles, with heads approximately 11–14cm across; the berries are around 23cm long and the leaf sprays around 29cm.

Build the display in layers

Begin with the leaf sprays, which provide the longest outline. Position the berry stems slightly forward of them, then add the poinsettias where you want a stronger focal point. This simple order lets the different shapes remain visible rather than hiding the smaller pieces behind the flowers.

For a wreath, try a loose cluster to one side and leave some greenery showing around the rest of the circle. For a tree, spread the flowers between several branches and use the berries and leaves to link those areas. The white finish works particularly well with clear ornaments, pale ribbon or a little silver, without needing several competing colours.

A small collection with room for creativity

The decorations are made from a mix of plastic, foam and polyester fabric, with glitter across the surfaces. The berry and leaf stems include wire for positioning, while the flower clips fit into the small opening beneath each head. Assemble and check each fixing before attaching it to your finished display.

A customer using the white set found it transformed a plain artificial wreath into something much more decorative. Another was pleased with the set but initially thought pieces were missing because some flowers had stuck together. Separate the layers carefully when unpacking and count the pieces before you begin; the varied shapes are meant to be used individually.

Keep the finish light and bright

This set suits indoor festive decorating and is unlit. It is not a completed wreath or arrangement, so you can choose your own base and decide how closely to group the pieces. The different component sizes also make it useful for dividing between a tree and a small matching display on a shelf.

Prepare the glittered pieces on an easy-to-clean surface, and keep them away from exposed food. When the season ends, store the flower heads without pressing the petals flat and lay the longer stems beside them. Other colour options are available, but this collection is all white: a straightforward way to give existing greenery a fresh, wintry accent.
