Description

Rich red flowers can bring welcome warmth to a plain entrance, especially when the surrounding walls and paving are fairly neutral. This pair of artificial rose topiary balls gives you that colour in two neat, rounded shapes. Green foliage shows between the small blooms, keeping the display leafy as well as floral.

A strong colour in a compact size

Each ball is approximately 28cm across, so the pair offers a noticeable decorative accent without the bulk of large planted baskets. The red roses look particularly effective against cream paintwork, weathered timber or dark grey containers. They can also echo red brick or nearby flowering plants without needing to copy the whole garden scheme.

This version contains red roses. Other flower colours may be available in the range, but keeping to one repeated shade can make a small entrance look calmer and more deliberate. Use the pair together for symmetry or place one near the door and the other beside a seating area to carry the colour through the space.

Hanging chains are supplied

Galvanised chains are included for suspending the balls from suitable hooks or brackets. Allow sufficient clearance for the chain above the 28cm sphere, and make sure the flowers will not brush against a rough surface when the ball moves. A secure hanging point is particularly useful in an exposed front garden.

The balls are supplied without pots. If you prefer to build them into a container display, choose a support that holds the sphere securely and leaves the flowering surface visible. A plain pot is a good partner for the busy rose texture, while a tall container gives the compact ball more height and presence.

Join the sections with care

Each sphere arrives in two interlocking halves. Lay the pieces out before starting, line up the connection points and work steadily around the edge. Customers have found the fastening stage fiddly, so allowing a little time for assembly is more realistic than expecting to hang them immediately on opening the box.
