AlphaAcc artificial ficus in a rustic black cement pot (25cm)

Description

The contrast between broad green leaves and a rough-textured pot gives this little ficus much of its charm. AlphaAcc’s artificial plant sits in a low, rustic black container, with pebble detail around the stems. It is a finished decorative piece for a kitchen ledge, bedside table or office shelf, rather than a nursery-style plant that needs a second pot before it looks at home.

Small enough for everyday surfaces

The arrangement is approximately 25cm tall, with a pot around 11.5cm across and 10cm high. The leaves spread out beyond the container, creating a rounded silhouette rather than a tall, narrow one. It suits a place where you want a little greenery at table height without losing the space above it.

Check that modest scale against the spot you have in mind. Some customers expected a larger plant, while others found it just right for a bathroom or kitchen. It is best thought of as a compact accent, perhaps beside a soap dispenser or a small lamp, rather than the main feature in an empty room corner.

Texture does much of the decorating

The cement pot has a dark, rustic finish that works nicely with natural wood, wicker and matte ceramics. Its slightly rough surface gives the arrangement a different character from a glossy white planter. Decorative pebbles complete the top, so the stems do not appear to emerge from an unfinished base.

The broad leaves have a simple, substantial shape. Their green colouring provides a calm contrast with the black pot, making this an easy piece to use in a room that already has plenty of pattern or colour. It can also sit among other artificial plants without needing every container to match.

A useful choice for a difficult corner

Customers have chosen this ficus for bathrooms where living plants were not doing well. Several describe the foliage as realistic, and the quality of the pot and pebble finish is a recurring positive point. It offers a little of the pleasure of a potted plant without needing the right daylight or a regular watering routine.

For a balanced arrangement, leave a small amount of clear surface around the spreading leaves. It can be displayed indoors or in a sheltered outdoor spot, but a dry, stable position will make it easier to keep the textured pot clean.

Ready for a gentle tidy

Remove the protective packaging carefully and check that the pot is sitting level. Make only small adjustments to the foliage, supporting the stems as you work. Dust the broad leaves when needed and wipe the container gently. There is no soil to tend, and the pebble-topped base keeps the whole display looking neatly finished.
