Description

Cream-edged ivy has a lovely way of lifting a dark corner without adding a bright splash of colour. Variegated foliage with a softer finish

The plant is approximately 57cm long. Its stems branch out from a plug base, giving you foliage to arrange over the front and sides of your chosen container. The smaller leaves help it sit comfortably in a mixed display; it adds texture without competing with a large vase or a piece of artwork nearby.

Choose your own pot

The ivy is supplied as a plug plant, so the pot shown in the product photograph is a styling suggestion and is not included. That gives you the freedom to use a container which already suits your room: a weathered terracotta pot, a glazed wall planter or a simple bowl with the stem base secured inside.

Allow some room around the container rather than pushing all the foliage straight down. A few stems extending sideways will make the display feel more relaxed. If it is going on a cabinet, check that the pot sits fully on the surface and that the longest strands will not catch in doors below.

For the house or a garden display

The foliage is UV resistant and suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It can soften the edge of a planter, blend into a larger arrangement or give a sheltered garden corner a little more greenery. Outdoors, position it where air can circulate and the foliage can dry fully after rain.
