Cheerful red and white chrysanthemum artificial hanging basket

Description

Red and white is a lovely combination when you want a basket to look bright without introducing lots of competing colours. This Ammyoo arrangement has little layered chrysanthemum-style flower heads scattered through green foliage, all sitting above a brown coconut-fibre liner. The black metal frame has curved decorative details that remain visible beneath the flowers, giving the basket an attractive finish of its own.

This is one hanging basket kit in the red-and-white option. Its rounded flowers have more of a small mum shape than the open, flat petals of a single daisy. The two colours are mixed throughout the arrangement rather than divided into blocks, so the display can be enjoyed from different sides.

A useful burst of colour for a shady porch

One five-star owner used this colour combination on a porch that received little sun. Their photograph, included in the gallery, shows how the red flowers stand out against pale house cladding while the white blooms keep the display from looking too dark. The picture is cropped to show one of their baskets; the product offered here contains a single basket.

It could also work near a garden room or on a sheltered balcony, especially if you already have red or white flowers elsewhere. Because the plants are artificial, you can choose a position for its appearance without having to match it to a plant’s sunlight or watering needs.

Arrange it to suit your space

The package includes the coconut-lined chain basket, four flower packs, a semi-circular section of plastic foliage and a foam base. Assembly involves placing the components in the basket and arranging the stems into a balanced shape. Allow time to separate the flower heads and position each section carefully; a few unhurried adjustments will give the basket a more balanced outline.

Several owners found the assembly easy but wanted more flower bundles for a denser finish. Another was satisfied after spreading the stems carefully. It is worth working around the whole basket before deciding where each flower section should sit; pushing everything upwards can leave the sides looking thinner than you intended.

Check the overall dimensions

The complete arrangement measures approximately 40cm across and 55cm high, giving a useful guide to the space the flowers need around a bracket or doorway. It weighs about 1.01kg and combines a steel container with silk-style fabric flowers, plastic foliage and wire components. Allow room for the outer stems to spread without brushing against the wall.

The chain and hook are included. Choose a suitable fixing for the location and leave enough clearance for the basket to hang without brushing the door or window frame.

What the reviews say about outdoor use

Customers praise the colour and the pleasure of having flowers without daily watering. The five-star porch reviewer found them attractive through the summer. However, a buyer of this same red-and-white option reported noticeable fading, despite the UV-resistant finish. For that reason, a sheltered or partly shaded position is a sensible preference rather than assuming the colours will stay unchanged in strong sun.

There are no lights to charge or switch on. Gentle occasional cleaning, a little reshaping and checks of the hanging hardware are still worthwhile. Other colour options are available if you would like to coordinate with a different garden scheme.
