Soft purple lavender and boxwood artificial hanging baskets (pair)

Description

Lavender has a lovely way of softening an entrance, and these artificial baskets borrow that gentle purple-and-green combination without asking you to find a sunny planting spot. Slender purple flower sprigs mingle with small boxwood-style leaves, making a rounded display with little trails falling over the edges of dark woven baskets.

The set contains two matching Juxdp baskets. There is plenty of foliage between the flowers, so the effect is leafy rather than a solid ball of colour. That makes them easy to combine with plain terracotta pots, painted garden furniture or an existing flower border. The baskets and metal hanging chains are included; choose suitable wall or overhead supports for the positions you have in mind.

A gentle colour scheme for a pair of baskets

Purple sprigs sit at different angles among the brighter green leaves. Some reach upwards, while others tumble down towards the basket, helping to break up the outline. The dark container gives the foliage a neat base without becoming the main feature.

Placed either side of a doorway, the pair can make an entrance feel more finished. They could also bring a repeated touch of colour along a sheltered balcony or covered patio. If you use them indoors, give the hanging stems a little space away from curtains and frequently used doorways so you can enjoy the shape without brushing past it.

Unpack, loosen and reshape

These baskets are supplied assembled, with the plants already in place. The flexible stems may be compressed during transport, so the main task is to separate and fluff the branches after unpacking. Working around the basket gradually should give a more balanced result than pulling everything towards the front at once.

With the stems fully extended, each arrangement is approximately 43cm wide and 58cm high. Those measurements include the foliage and hanging drop, so allow space around the complete display. Some customers found the baskets smaller than expected; checking these dimensions against your doorway or bracket will help you judge the scale.

Customer photos help set expectations

The gallery includes a photograph from a five-star buyer who thought the baskets looked even better in person. It shows one hanging beneath a porch, with the purple sprigs scattered through the greenery rather than hiding it. Other owners also praise the lifelike appearance, including a UK customer whose visitors were surprised to discover the flowers were artificial.

That same UK reviewer raised a useful practical point: the baskets moved readily in the wind, without the weight of soil that a planted basket would contain. A protected position is therefore a sensible choice. The plastic flowers and foliage have a UV-resistant finish, but some shelter will also help keep the lightweight stems neatly arranged.

Keep the display looking settled

No watering or seasonal planting is needed, and there are no lights to charge or switch on. Occasionally dust the leaves, straighten any displaced stems and check the hanging points. The appeal here is a consistent little cloud of lavender colour and greenery, ready to enjoy whenever you step outside.
