Lush Boston fern artificial hanging baskets (pair)

Description

Sometimes a porch needs greenery more than another colour. These two Juxdp fern baskets bring a generous sweep of leaves to an entrance, patio or garden seating area, with fine fronds that arch outwards and fall around the sides of dark woven-look baskets. The green tones are easy to sit alongside flowering pots, timber furniture or a painted front door.

They are modelled on Boston ferns, with lots of narrow leaflets giving the foliage its feathery texture. The baskets are supplied as a matching pair, so you can frame a doorway or space them along a covered veranda. A pair also works nicely at different heights in a corner where you want a little softness above the furniture.

Ready assembled, with room to shape the leaves

The plants arrive already fitted into their baskets, and the hanging chains are included. There are no loose flower bundles to arrange in foam. That should suit anyone who likes the idea of an artificial display but would rather avoid starting a planting project from scratch.

Do allow time to open out the foliage after unpacking. The ferns are packed closely for transport, so a quick lift out of the box will not show them at their best. Ease the fronds apart and let some curve down while others sit higher. One five-star customer specifically liked that the baskets arrived put together and only needed fluffing before hanging.

Allow space for the full spread

The complete fern display measures approximately 56cm across and 56cm high. These dimensions include the spreading fronds, so allow enough space for the greenery to fall naturally around the basket. In a narrow doorway or beside a path, checking that overall spread will help you choose a position where the leaves can be enjoyed without getting in the way.

Leave enough clearance for the outer fronds when choosing a bracket or ceiling position. Against a wall, you can direct more of the leaves towards the front; under a porch roof, an even spread makes sense when the basket can be seen from several angles. The chains and hooks remain visible above the foliage and contribute to the traditional hanging-basket outline.

A useful look at them in a real garden

The customer photo in the gallery comes from a five-star review and shows one fern hanging against a timber fence. That setting gives a clearer sense of its shape than a white-background product photograph. The owner used these baskets along fence posts around a pool and was delighted with the effect.

Other buyers praise their fullness and realistic appearance. One ordered after admiring the same ferns in a friend’s home. The feedback is not entirely positive, though: a one-star reviewer reported a rapid change to a much brighter green. The UV-resistant finish does not rule out colour changes, so a position away from prolonged strong sun is a sensible choice.

Greenery with a lighter care routine

There is no watering, feeding or pruning to remember, and no lights or batteries to manage. Occasional gentle cleaning will still help the fine leaves look tidy. A sheltered outdoor position, or a decorative spot indoors, lets you enjoy the fern shape without worrying about a living plant’s light and moisture requirements.
