Full white artificial hydrangea stems (6 stems, 47cm)

Description

Big, rounded blooms with a soft white finish

If you like a vase to look generously filled, hydrangeas do much of the work for you. Each of these six stems carries a rounded cluster of small white petals, with broad green leaves beneath. The heads sit together beautifully, creating a soft, cloud-like outline that suits a dining table, a bedroom chest or a mantelpiece with enough room for a fuller display.

The individual flower heads measure approximately 16.75cm across, so this is a substantial set rather than a handful of small filler flowers. Each stem is around 47cm tall. The white petals have a gentle, slightly creamy look, making them easy to pair with both bright white ceramics and warmer neutral rooms.

Open out the flowers before arranging

Give yourself a few minutes to separate and fluff the flower heads when they arrive. The many little petals can become compressed in their packaging, and opening them carefully is what brings back the rounded hydrangea shape. Work around each head a section at a time, supporting it underneath rather than pulling on the outermost petals.

Customers repeatedly mention how much they like the flowers once they have been opened out. One was particularly pleased with the finished result after fluffing them, while others praised the size and convincing appearance. There have also been reports of crushed leaves or loose petals on arrival, so handle the heads gently and check each stem before putting together your display.

Build a display with just six stems

The steel-wire stems have a plastic covering and can be bent to suit your chosen vase. Arrange three towards the centre, then position the remaining flowers around them, turning the leaves outwards to frame the white heads. You can vary the heights slightly to avoid a completely flat top. For a smaller container, bend the lower stems or shorten them with suitable wire cutters.

A narrow-necked vase will draw the stems together for a compact shape. A wider opening lets the heads spread, giving a more relaxed arrangement. Before choosing a vase, remember that the full 47cm length includes the section that sits inside it. No container comes with the flowers, so you are free to use a favourite jug or a simple glass cylinder.

White flowers that work with your room

These stems are intended for indoor decoration and need no water. Their silk-style petals are best kept clean with gentle dusting, paying attention to the folds where dust can settle. A dry position away from harsh sunlight will help keep the display looking fresh.

Use the hydrangeas alone for a rounded white centrepiece, or add a little greenery for a looser outline. The customer photograph shows the white flowers combined with extra foliage, a useful idea if you want more height or movement. Other flower colours are also available, but this white set is particularly adaptable when your table linen or room accessories change with the seasons.
