Blue and white artificial dahlia arrangement in a textured glass vase (38cm)

Description

Blue and white flowers have a lovely way of settling into a room. This Der Rose arrangement pairs layered dahlia blooms with eucalyptus and taller sprigs of greenery, creating a loose outline above a textured glass vase. The colours feel restful beside pale walls, oak furniture or navy accessories, while the white petals keep the display from looking too dark.

The vase is part of the set, so there is no need to find a container with the right height or opening. A twine tie and small wooden heart soften the glass and give the arrangement a homely finishing touch.

A little height without a large footprint

At approximately 38cm tall overall, this is a useful size for a console, side table or the end of a kitchen worktop. Six artificial dahlia flowers form the main display, with foliage extending between and above them. Leave some open space around those taller stems so their different shapes can be appreciated.

For a dining table, place it where the height suits the way you use the room. It can sit at one end for everyday decoration, or move to a sideboard when you want a clear view across the table. The glass catches daylight pleasantly without adding another strong colour to your scheme.

Shape the stems to suit your space

The flower stems contain metal wire beneath their plastic covering. Gently separate the blooms and angle the greenery after unpacking, working around the vase rather than pulling all the flowers forwards. Turning a couple of flower heads slightly to the side helps the arrangement feel less rigid.

The petals have a silk-like decorative finish. They provide the layered appearance of dahlias without needing water, and the foliage gives the bunch some breathing room. The display is unlit; the detail comes from the varied leaves, petals and textured container.

What owners enjoy

Customers choosing the blue version often praise the combination of flowers and glass vase. One found the stems quick to reshape after unpacking, while others have used the arrangement on a dining table and a bathroom shelf. Its manageable size seems to be part of its appeal: it adds a finished floral detail without taking over the surface.

An occasional gentle dusting will keep the pale petals looking fresh. Lift the arrangement by its vase when moving it, and choose a stable spot away from busy edges. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming present for someone who likes flowers but would rather enjoy the display than maintain it.
