Description

Not every leafy display needs to stay the same shade of green. These TIANLIN trailing plants bring warmer autumn tones into the mix, with foliage moving from green through bronze and red. The result is a softer seasonal accent than a bright floral arrangement, useful around a doorway, beside a fireplace or spilling from a decorative planter.

Autumn colour in a long cascade

Each of the two plants measures approximately 80cm long. Their branching trails carry small leaves at different points, allowing the warmer tones to show through the green rather than forming one solid block of colour. The effect is especially attractive when light reaches the foliage from the side.

The pair is supplied as loose foliage without pots or hanging hardware. Use both in one container for a fuller arrangement, or separate them to repeat the colour elsewhere. A dark planter will draw out the red tones, while a pale container gives the whole display a lighter feel.

Build a seasonal corner

These trails can sit comfortably with wooden accessories, terracotta and neutral ceramics. For an autumn display, add them to a pot beside a few simple seasonal ornaments rather than crowding every branch with decorations. Their length creates much of the interest, so allow a clear drop beneath the container.

They can also soften the edge of an existing artificial arrangement. Tuck the stem bases securely into place, then bring a few trails forward and let others fall to the sides. Mixing the lengths and angles is more effective than lining both plants up into matching straight columns.

Indoor or outdoor decoration

The plastic foliage is designed for indoor and outdoor decorative use, with resistance to water and sunlight. It gives an outdoor planter colour without relying on a plant remaining in its autumn phase. Choose a stable container and a position where the trails will not be continually caught by people passing or blown into nearby objects.

One customer displaying the plants outside particularly liked the way the light brought out their colours. Others praised the length and overall appearance. The foliage can look more obviously artificial close up, so these are best appreciated as part of a wider display rather than as a tiny botanical detail at eye level.

Handle the foliage with care

Separate the branches gently after unpacking, supporting the stems rather than pulling at individual leaves. Check the arrangement from a few steps back before fixing it in place. Light cleaning will remove dust or outdoor dirt, and there is no watering or pruning to organise. When you change your seasonal decorations, the two stems can be lifted out and used in another container.
