Ruffled pink real touch artificial carnations (6 stems, 51cm)

Description

Ruffled petals are part of a carnation’s charm, and these pink flowers make the most of them. Each full head is built from layers of frilled petals, sitting above a slender green stem with narrow leaves. The effect is cheerful and familiar: a small bunch for a kitchen table, perhaps, or a few favourite flowers beside an armchair.

A generous flower on each stem

You receive six individual carnations in the pink colour option. Each is approximately 51cm long overall, with a flower head about 8cm across and around 45cm of stem below it. They arrive as loose flowers, so you choose the spacing, height and container. The vase shown in the photographs is for styling and is not included.

The petals have a latex coating that gives them a soft, real touch finish. Flocked detailing on the stems and leaves adds texture, and a wire core inside the plastic stems allows them to be shaped. Their length gives you room to work with a medium or tall vase before deciding whether to shorten them.

A simple bunch, or part of something personal

These are particularly easy flowers to use in a small, rounded display. Place three heads slightly lower and let the others sit above them, turning the flowers as you go so the ruffles remain visible. A narrow-necked jug can help hold that shape without needing lots of extra greenery.

For a more open arrangement, combine two or three carnations with branching foliage or a few light blossom stems. The contrast between their full, rounded heads and finer branches can be lovely. You can also divide the six stems among bud vases for a table setting, leaving plenty of space for plates and conversation. Other colour options are available if pink is not the shade you need.

Soft petals are a favourite detail

Customers often appreciate the feel of the petals as well as the appearance of the flowers. Several describe convincing finished displays, and one particularly liked being able to give carnations to someone who could no longer comfortably manage regular vase-water changes.

Some customers find the lower stems less natural-looking than the flower heads, and a few have found shaping them takes patience. An opaque vase is a useful choice if you want attention to stay on the blooms. Make small bends rather than trying to force a sharp change of direction in one place.

Ready for everyday decorating

Gently separate and plump the petals after unpacking, supporting each flower at its base. Try the stems at full length before making permanent cuts. They can be used indoors or outdoors; a sheltered position is a sensible choice for keeping a carefully arranged display looking its best. Dust the flowers lightly when needed, and enjoy a familiar splash of pink without watering, dropped petals or replacing a fading bunch.
