Snowy red berry and pinecone Christmas picks (10 stems, 19cm)

Description

A little woodland detail can make a familiar Christmas tree feel fresh again. These ten compact picks combine red berries, green pine foliage and small pinecones, with a dusting of artificial snow that softens the colours. The rustic twine detail gives them an informal, handmade feel, particularly lovely beside wooden ornaments, checked ribbon and traditional glass baubles.

Each pick is approximately 19cm long, so this is a set of small finishing touches rather than tall branches. Tuck them into gaps near the front of the tree, where the berries and cones can be seen, or use them to carry the same woodland theme onto a wreath.

Small stems with plenty of possibilities

The flexible construction lets you angle each pick to suit its position. Open out any foliage that has been flattened in transit, then arrange the berries to face into the room. A pick nestled just above a bauble can brighten an otherwise shadowy patch without needing another hanging loop.

You can divide the ten stems between several projects. Try a few along a garland and use the remainder to decorate wrapped presents. On a table, they work well as part of a separate decorative arrangement beside place settings. Keep the artificial foliage and its snowy finish away from food and drinking rims.

Little details customers enjoy

Customers have used these picks to finish artificial wreaths, create little posies in bud vases and decorate Christmas gifts. Several particularly like how they look once the foliage has been gently fanned out. Their compact size is useful when a full spray would overwhelm a small decoration: a narrow shelf, a modest wreath or a little tabletop display can all accommodate them.

The snow effect does shed to some extent. Feedback ranges from a light dusting on surfaces to more noticeable loose particles, so unpack them over a tray and give them a gentle shake before decorating. This is a snowy decorative finish, not a clean, sealed white coating.

Keep them ready for next Christmas

These are artificial picks with plastic foliage and decorative berries; there is no watering or plant care involved. Keep them dry and avoid combining them with fresh stems standing in water. A dry indoor display is the straightforward choice, and prolonged strong sunlight is best avoided.

When the decorations come down, lift each piece by its stem instead of pulling the berries. Store the picks loosely in a shallow box so the cones and foliage are not crushed. The pack contains the ten picks only, leaving you free to pair them with your own tree, garland or favourite vase.
