A green base with plenty of possibilities

The Imperial wreath has a nominal diameter of 50cm and soft PVC foliage. The branches need opening and arranging after unpacking; that little bit of attention makes a noticeable difference to both its shape and fullness. Work around the ring, spreading the tips in different directions, then hold it upright to see where the foliage needs adjusting. The finished spread depends partly on how you position those branches.

This is the plain, unlit version. There are no fitted lights, flowers or bows to dictate your scheme, so you can keep the look quiet and green or build something much more colourful. Red velvet would give it a traditional feel, while a broad cream ribbon would suit a softer room. Any decorations or lighting you add are separate from the wreath itself.

For a personal Christmas project

At the end of the season, remove any fragile extras and put the wreath away without pressing heavy boxes onto the foliage. Next year, open the branches again before adding your new finishing touches.
