Description

This green Bonnlo Christmas tree keeps the starting point simple: a familiar 6ft shape, warm lights and branches ready for your own decorations. It suits a traditional collection of ornaments, but is equally happy with a few carefully chosen colours if you prefer a more coordinated display. The lights are fitted already, leaving the enjoyable part of decorating to you.

A classic green backdrop

The tree has 606 PVC branch tips arranged on a hinged structure. Its green foliage gives contrast to pale baubles, while stronger colours such as red, copper or deep blue can create a richer look. Spread the smaller shoots in different directions so the tree has depth, then decide where the larger ornaments will sit.

Customers with the green version like the appearance once the branches have been fluffed out, and describe the main sections as easy to connect. There is still some arranging to do after unpacking: the foliage is compressed for transport and needs attention before it takes on its finished outline. It is worth treating shaping as the first stage of decorating rather than something to rush through.

Warm white lighting through the branches

There are 250 LEDs fitted around the tree. The warm white light gives a welcoming glow and works particularly well with gold, cream or natural wooden ornaments. It can also soften the appearance of brighter decorations, allowing them to bring the colour while the lighting stays warm and consistent.

Connect the lighting as you assemble the sections and test it before adding anything fragile. Owners appreciate the number of lights and the easy construction, although one customer found the remote did not work and used the control at the plug instead. Keep that control accessible when choosing the final position, rather than hiding it behind furniture or a tightly wrapped tree skirt.

Hinged branches and a metal support

Assembly begins with the largest section in the stand, followed by the remaining sections. The hinged branches open out from the trunk, ready for individual shaping. Three screws secure the tree in its metal base, so tighten them evenly and check that the tree stands upright before dressing it.

This model is suitable for indoor or outdoor display when used according to its supplied instructions. For an outdoor arrangement, follow the electrical placement requirements carefully and keep the power connection appropriately protected. Its broad festive shape can work as an entrance feature as well as a living-room tree; choose a position that allows the foliage to open without obstructing a route through the space.

Other foliage colours are available, while this is the green 6ft version. Add your own topper and ornaments, keeping heavier pieces nearer the stronger inner branches. At the end of the season, fold the sections gently around their fitted lights and pack the stand screws safely with the base, ready for the next year.
