Crosofmi artificial areca palm with feathery fronds (150cm)

Description

A palm beside a favourite armchair can make a room feel wonderfully inviting. This 150cm Crosofmi areca has that gentle, feathery look: slender stems rise from a compact black pot, with layers of narrow green leaves reaching upwards and outwards. It adds height without the solid outline of a broad-leaved tree, making it a lovely companion for woven furniture, pale walls and soft furnishings.

A shape you can make your own

The polyester foliage is supported by metal wires inside the stems. That means you can open the palm into a generous fan or keep some of the fronds closer together where space is limited. A little variation works well here. Let the lower leaves lean outwards, keep a few upper stems upright and avoid arranging every frond at precisely the same angle.

Some assembly is needed when it arrives. Connect the sections, fit the foliage and then take your time shaping it. Several owners of the 150cm palm describe assembly as straightforward and are particularly pleased with how natural the leaves look once arranged. Getting the final silhouette just right can take longer than simply putting the pieces together, so allow yourself a few extra minutes for that satisfying finishing stage.

A small pot with plenty of styling possibilities

The supplied black plastic pot is filled with cement to give the tree a weighted base. It measures approximately 15.24cm across and 12.7cm high. This is a practical inner pot, easy to slip into a decorative container that suits your room. A basket brings warmth, while a ceramic planter gives a more polished finish.

For an outer planter, an internal diameter of around 18–22cm and at least 14cm of internal height is suggested, allowing for the shape of the container. Check the fit before adding any decorative topping. The outer planter is a styling addition, rather than part of this single-tree set.

Greenery for rooms with little natural light

This palm is intended for indoor use, which makes it useful in a hallway, bedroom or home office where a living palm might struggle. It needs no watering, feeding or pruning. Keep it dry and away from prolonged direct sunshine, radiators and strong heat; an occasional gentle dusting or wipe with a slightly damp cloth will keep the leaves looking their best.

Owners have used this size successfully in halls and living spaces, appreciating both its scale and its adjustable shape. Check all the fronds when unpacking before you begin arranging them. Other sizes are available if you need a different height, but this version contains one 150cm palm.
