Colorspec artificial pyramid boxwood trees in square pots (pair, 103cm)

Description

The square decorative pots are a big part of the appeal of these Colorspec trees. Their panelled sides give the bases a finished, architectural look, while slim tapered greenery rises above them. As a matching pair, they suit a doorway or covered entrance where you want a clean, orderly arrangement without having to find separate outer containers first.

Slim greenery with a formal feel

The selected trees measure approximately 103cm tall and 20cm across. They are tall enough to frame an entrance, but their narrow shape leaves room for people to pass comfortably. The foliage tapers upwards, creating a pyramid-like outline that works well alongside straight door frames and square paving.

Artificial boxwood leaves provide a close green covering. The effect is more formal than a loose, branching shrub, making the pair useful for a traditional porch, a reception area or either side of a garden-room doorway. A plain background allows the outline to stand out, while the dark pots anchor the greenery visually.

Pots that contribute to the design

The included decorative bases have moulded, panel-like details and a dark finish. You can leave them on show as part of the arrangement, rather than treating them as nursery pots that need hiding. Their square shape also makes it easy to line up the pair evenly against a wall or step.

The overall proportions remain fairly slender, so check the intended position before ordering. Measure both the height available and the space the pots will occupy. If you plan to place the trees within additional outer containers, allow enough internal room to secure the supplied bases without forcing them.

Think about wind when displaying outside

These trees are suitable for indoor and outdoor decoration, with UV-, fade- and water-resistant features. Customers like the appearance of the foliage and the decorative pots, but several mention that extra support is useful in windy conditions. A sheltered position or carefully weighted outer planter is a sensible choice for an exposed entrance.

That practical step matters more than the tidy shape might suggest: a tall, narrow tree can still catch a gust. Set the bases on a level surface and make sure neither tree can obstruct the door or tip into the route people use. Any ballast or extra containers are separate additions.

A green starting point for the seasons

The pair can stay plain for a restrained, year-round look, or act as a backdrop for your own seasonal decorations. A ribbon on the pot or suitable lights added separately can change the mood without altering the underlying shape. No lights or seasonal ornaments are included.

After unpacking, gently tidy the leaves and turn the trees until their best sides face forward. They need no watering or regular clipping, just occasional cleaning. Other shapes are available in the range, but this selected tapered pair offers a particularly simple match for the square, decorative bases.
