Artificial 5ft cedar pine cypress conifer tree

Description

Create a smart, symmetrical entrance without waiting years for real conifers to grow into shape. This set includes two tall artificial cypress trees, each standing approximately 150cm high, with dense green foliage and a naturally narrow, upright shape.

They’re especially effective positioned either side of a front door, porch or gateway, where the matching pair gives an instant sense of balance. They also work beautifully on a patio, balcony or terrace, and can be used indoors to add height and greenery to an empty corner.

One of the things buyers comment on most is how convincing these trees look. Reviewers of the 150cm size describe them as realistic both from a distance and close up, with several commenting that they look more expensive than they are. The foliage can also be adjusted, so you’re not stuck with the compressed shape it naturally has after being packed for delivery.

When your trees arrive, take a little time to fan the branches out and arrange the foliage. Think of it in much the same way as shaping an artificial Christmas tree: gently work around the plant, spreading the branches until you’re happy with the width and density. Customers say this makes a considerable difference to the finished appearance.

Each tree comes planted in its own black plastic pot, approximately 20cm in diameter and 18cm high. The simple pot makes the trees ready to position straight away, but they look particularly effective slipped inside larger decorative planters. Adding gravel or stones around the top can also help create a more finished, planted appearance.

The pots have useful weight to them, helping the trees remain stable in normal conditions. For a particularly windy or exposed position, however, we recommend placing them inside larger planters and adding extra weight. Buyers using the 150cm trees outdoors report that this works well in breezier locations.

The artificial foliage is UV rated for outdoor use, making these a practical option where maintaining real conifers would be difficult. There’s no watering, feeding, pruning or worrying about brown patches – simply wipe or rinse the foliage occasionally when it needs freshening up.

They’re also surprisingly versatile throughout the year. Leave them plain for a classic evergreen look, or add outdoor lights and decorations during autumn and Christmas for a completely different display.

This listing is for the pair of 150cm trees. Smaller 90cm and 120cm versions are also available if you need something more compact – just click more info and buy to see the pricing.
