Azalea purple and yellow artificial hanging basket (30cm)

Description

Brighten up a porch, patio or garden with this colourful artificial azalea hanging basket, combining rich purple flowers with sunny yellow blooms for a bold, cheerful display.

The contrasting colours make this basket particularly eye-catching from a distance, while the green artificial foliage helps soften the arrangement and gives the flowers a more natural setting. It’s a lovely choice if you want something brighter and more dramatic than a single-colour hanging basket.

This is a DIY arrangement, so the flowers are supplied for you to position yourself rather than arriving in one fixed design. Simply insert the stems into the supplied centre and arrange them until you are happy with the shape. You can distribute the purple and yellow flowers evenly, create small colour clusters or angle individual stems outwards for a looser, more natural-looking display.

The basket itself is approximately 30cm in diameter and has an overall hanging length of around 60cm including the chain. That gives the finished arrangement plenty of presence without being excessively large, making it suitable for front entrances, porches, balconies, patios and garden walls.

A traditional metal chain basket and coco liner give the arrangement the familiar appearance of a planted hanging basket. Inside, the artificial flowers and leaves are supported by a grass-style or foam centre, allowing the individual stems to be pushed firmly into position while still giving you the freedom to rearrange them.

The silk-style azalea flowers provide lasting colour without the work involved in maintaining a real flowering basket. There is no watering, feeding, deadheading or worrying about flowers drying out during hot weather, making this a particularly useful option for places that are difficult to water regularly.

Create your own arrangement

One of the nicest features of this basket is that you are not tied to somebody else’s arrangement. Position the flowers evenly for a neat, rounded display or vary the height and direction of the stems to create a more relaxed cottage-garden effect.

Take a little time when first assembling the basket to spread the flowers and foliage around the entire arrangement. Once the stems have been separated and positioned, the purple and yellow blooms create a much fuller display than they may appear to straight from the packaging.

Dimensions:

• Basket diameter: approx. 30cm / 11.8 inches
• Total hanging length: approx. 60cm / 23.6 inches
• Overall listed dimensions: approx. 30 x 30 x 60cm

Perfect for:

• Front doors and entranceways

The purple and yellow colour combination gives this basket a wonderfully summery feel, but because the flowers are artificial you can keep the display looking bright for as long as you like, whatever the season.

Note: This is a DIY product. The artificial flowers and foliage need to be inserted and arranged in the basket before hanging.
