Pale blue artificial delphinium sprays (6 stems, 85cm)

Description

Gentle blue colour with a tall garden-flower shape

Delphiniums bring a lovely sense of height to a vase. These pale blue sprays have small, layered flowers arranged along tall spikes, with lighter green tips above the blooms. The colour is soft rather than bold, making them a pretty choice beside white flowers, pale pinks or a quieter green arrangement.

The pack contains six separate sprays, each approximately 85cm long, with two flowering branches on each. That branching shape gives the display more movement than a row of perfectly straight flower spikes. It also lets you turn some blooms towards the front while leaving others slightly behind, creating depth without needing a large mixed bouquet.

Make the most of a taller vase

These are particularly useful for a substantial vase that shorter stems tend to disappear into. One customer displayed the light blue flowers in a 40cm vase and liked both the stem length and the finished effect. Another chose them for a tall bathroom vase and was pleased with the delicate blue colour.

Place a few sprays towards the back first, then angle the remaining ones around the sides. Leaving the tallest tips slightly off-centre gives a natural-looking outline and helps the individual flowering branches remain visible. A heavier vase with a stable base is a sensible choice for a tall display, especially on a narrow console or near a doorway.

Unfold, separate and arrange

The stems are plastic with wire inside, so they can be bent or shortened to suit your container. They arrive folded for packing and will need straightening before use. Support the stem as you work, then gently separate any petals that have been pressed together. The fabric flowers look fuller once the small blossoms are given a little space.

Customers have praised the realistic flowers and their pale blue shade. The greenery is also quite light: one customer described the stems and leaves as almost grey-green, so expect a soft overall palette rather than deep green foliage. This can look particularly effective against a darker vase or wall, where the pale stems and flowers stand out.

A lasting display for a favourite corner

Use these delphiniums indoors, where they need no water and can stay in place between seasonal changes. Their tall shape works well in an entrance hall, beside a fireplace or in a bathroom corner with enough space around the flowers. Remove dust gently with a soft brush, taking care around the individual petals.

The customer photograph shows pale blue sprays combined with separate white flowers in a tall vase. For a simpler look, use the six blue sprays alone and let their different branch angles create the interest. A vase and additional flowers are not included. Other colours are available, including pink and white, if you want to build a coordinated display in more than one room.
