Description

A rosy kitchen corner, a welcoming hallway or a little colour beside the bed: these pink rose and lily bouquets are easy flowers to live with. The larger roses give the arrangement its soft, rounded shape, while small white lilies and fern-like greenery break up the pink. There is enough variety already in each bunch to make a mixed display without choosing lots of separate stems.

Four bunches to arrange your way

The pack contains four bouquets, each approximately 33cm long. Every bunch has five branching stems carrying three large roses, six smaller lilies and foliage. The roses are around 7cm across, so they provide a clear focal point among the finer flowers. A vase is not included; the containers in styled photographs are examples of how the flowers can be displayed.

For the fullest result, gather all four bunches in one medium-small vase. An opaque jug gives the flowers a relaxed country feel, while clear glass lets you see the crossing stems. You could also divide the pack between two narrow-necked containers for matching bedside displays. Keep the vase opening fairly modest if you want the flowers to sit closely together without adding extra greenery.

Soft colour with an adjustable shape

The fabric petals have a gentler appearance than a solid moulded bloom. Pink shades sit against pale lilies and green leaves, making the bouquet easy to pair with cream walls, light wood and warm metallic accessories. Try placing it slightly off-centre on a sideboard, leaving room for a favourite photograph or a small stack of books beside it.

There is wire inside the stems, allowing you to move the flowers into a more open shape. Begin by spreading the lower branches, then turn some rose heads towards the front and leave others facing a little sideways. Gently separate any petals that have been pressed together during packing. The aim is a loose group of flowers at slightly different angles, with the smaller lilies visible between them.

A little shaping makes a difference

Customers particularly enjoy the full effect when the four bunches are combined. Feedback also points to the value of opening the stems and petals after unpacking. The greenery has a more obviously artificial finish at close range, so this is a cheerful decorative bouquet rather than a botanical replica for close inspection.

No water is needed in the vase. Dust the petals lightly with a soft brush, supporting the flower heads as you work. The fabric can collect dust in its folds, so a quick regular clean is easier than leaving it to build up. White flowers and different pack quantities are also available if you want to coordinate another corner of the house.
