Description

A new container can alter their character just as much as moving the flowers themselves: clear glass feels light, while a ceramic jug gives them a more informal look.

The flower heads may need gentle opening after unpacking. Support the branches while adjusting them, separate any petals that have folded together and let the little filler sprigs show. Avoid pulling at the flowers to reposition the whole bunch.

There is no watering to remember and no need to replace the display as fresh peonies finish flowering. Brush dust lightly from the petals and small berry details, and keep the bunches away from prolonged direct sunshine. Other colours may be available, but this light-and-deep-pink pairing is particularly suited to a cheerful floral accent.
