Description

A pair of bay trees is a familiar way to make a doorway feel welcoming, and these Outsunny trees give you that look without the worry of uneven growth. The leafy crowns sit above slender twisted trunks, leaving an airy gap between foliage and planter. At approximately 120cm tall, they suit a front entrance, conservatory or paved seating area.

Rounded crowns and a clear stem

The green foliage forms a broad, rounded head rather than a tightly clipped solid ball. Flexible branches let you open the leaves into a fuller shape and adjust the outline to suit the available space. The exposed twisted trunks add detail below the greenery and help the trees look lighter than a full-height cone.

The foliage is made from artificial material with a leaf shape intended to resemble bay. These are decorative plants, with no watering or pruning needed to keep the crowns at the same height. They are supplied as two trees in the selected 120cm version; other sizes are also available.

Allow time for a little setup

The trees require simple assembly, followed by arranging the branches. Customers describe joining the sections and then spreading the foliage to achieve the finished shape. Take your time over this stage, turning each tree as you work so there is no flattened side left at the back.

The included pots are compact, approximately 16cm in diameter and 13cm high, with cement weighting. Those measurements refer to the pots, not the spread of the leafy crowns. If you plan to use outer containers, check their internal dimensions and leave room to secure the original bases.

A pair that is easy to personalise

In customer photographs, the trees work particularly well in decorative pots outside a house or beside an outdoor dining area. Owners often comment on the attractive foliage and the improvement to the space once the pair is arranged. The clear trunks make room for a visible layer of pebbles or another neat finishing material in an outer planter.

Extra planters and stones are not included. For outdoor use, choose a stable base and a protected position, especially where wind could catch the rounded crowns. Avoid prolonged harsh exposure where possible; artificial foliage benefits from a little care in how it is placed, even though it needs no horticultural maintenance.

Indoors, the pair can mark an opening between rooms or soften the ends of a long wall. You can also separate them if two corners need the same touch of greenery. Wipe away dust gently and readjust any leaves that get knocked during everyday use. Their strongest feature is that classic bay-tree proportion: a slender decorative stem supporting a generous green crown, repeated neatly on either side of your chosen space.
