Colourful artificial flowers in cone wall baskets (pair, 30cm tall)

Description

These little cone-shaped wall baskets are a lovely way to add flowers where a round hanging basket would feel too bulky. The narrow, pointed containers sit against a wall or fence, with a colourful spray of artificial flowers above each one. A pair gives you plenty of possibilities: flank a doorway, brighten two fence panels, or put one beside a sheltered garden seat and enjoy the other indoors.

The selected YXYQR set mixes pink, red, purple and yellow flowers with small green leaves. The brown woven-look containers have lighter decorative accents towards their pointed tips, and the metal hanging details add to their old-fashioned charm. One reviewer was reminded of vintage umbrella-shaped baskets, which is a rather nice way to picture their character.

Small containers with room for colour

Check the container measurements carefully if you are planning a particular space. Each measures approximately 11.8 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide, or about 30cm by 14cm. The finished flower display measures around 40cm, depending on how the stems are arranged. The flowers therefore make a much broader shape than the slim basket beneath them.

The flat backs are useful along a fence or on a wall where you want the display to sit close to the surface. Unlike a traditional basket suspended from chains, the pointed design keeps the visual weight towards the wall. Choose secure fixings suited to your surface and position; the flowers should not hide an insecure hanging point.

Twelve bundles to share between two baskets

The set includes two baskets and twelve separate flower bundles, with five stems on each bundle. You arrange them yourself, rather than receiving two finished displays. Begin with an even share of the colours, then open the branches out and adjust the outline to suit each basket.

A verified buyer liked having control over the colour placement and had some flowers left over for a separate pot. Others also felt there was a generous amount of material, although one customer spent a while spreading and shaping it to get the result they wanted. Take a few steps back while arranging: these baskets are often enjoyed from across a patio rather than at arm’s length.

What buyers say about the finish

Customers praise the cheerful colours on fences and beside front doors. The photograph in the gallery comes from a five-star buyer who used the pair on garden fencing and subsequently bought more. Another buyer noted that the containers were shinier in person than expected, so think decorative woven effect rather than a completely matt natural basket.

The main reservation is scale. Several people found the containers smaller than they had imagined, even when they liked the finished display. Opinions on realism also vary: some were delighted, while a more cautious reviewer felt the flowers worked best at a distance.

Outdoor colour with sensible care

The flowers have a UV-resistant finish and are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. A customer who left theirs on a log cabin for a year reported a little fading, but still liked their appearance after winter. That gives a more realistic expectation than assuming the colours will never change. Occasional gentle cleaning and a sheltered position should help keep the display presentable. Another colour mix is also available.
